Her performances on Guiding Light as Marina Cooper as well as Dawson's Creek as Marcy Bender are among her most well-known roles. The actress was featured in two episodes on Showtime's Weeds, starring Mary Louise Parker. Her character was Judy Kramer, a Fox series from 2005 and Marcy Bender on Dawson's Creek. A few years ago she portrayed Marina Cooper on the Guiding Light. The role won her an award at the Soap Opera Digest Awards in 2003 for the Best newcomer. Dollar appeared as Cindy Thomas in the ABC program Women's Murder Club from 2007-2008. Dollar starred as Happy Valley, a pilot for NBC in 2012. The show wasn't renewed.
